Would We Ever See A True 'The Mask' Adaptation?

With the slow build towards allowing certain comic properties to tap into their R-rated origins, will we ever see a proper adaptation of The Mask?

Ten years ago we got the premiere of, quite possibly, the best Spider-Man series we will get for a very long time in the fantastic Spectacular Spider-Man, so we take a quick look at why the series was as great as it was and why it was ended way too soon.

Ranking All 25 Goosebumps 2000 Covers

The end of the original Goosebumps series brought up a new line known as 'Series 2000'. With more of an emphasis on serious scares, the covers changed with the tone as well. But how well do they hold up to the nostalgia of that original Goosebumps run?

Roles We Love: Anthony Perkins in Psycho

Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho is a movie that really needs no introduction. Still highly ranking amongst some of the Master of Suspense’s greatest works as well as the best horror film ever made, and rightly so, Psycho is one of our favourite films around here. A masterful example of building mystery and tension along a winding road, the movie holds up incredibly after 58 years. It isn’t just the work of Hitchcock that excels the material, of course, as the script is also wonderful and tightly written. But words on a page can only go so far, and their power lays at the hands of the actor. And though everyone brings great work, this is, after a certain point, a one man show.

Most Anticipated Films of 2018

Here we are once again, the start (kind of...) of a new year that brings about new things to be excited for! I always have somewhat of a hard time writing these lists this early, as more and more films are revealed for the tail end of the year as we go along (which lead to me writing an extra list last June). But that doesn't mean we already don't have a lot to look forward to, as I've compiled a list of 15 films (and two honourable mentions) that we are currently looking forward to in 2018. So let's not waste any more time and dive right in to what will surely be another year of great experiences and new memories, maybe even favourites.

The Flintstones Meet Rockula and Frankenstone

The Flintstones and the Rubbles are on a game show where, after some big mouthing from Fred, the four win a stay in an old castle that used to belong to vampire Rockula 500 years ago, which has since been turned into a tourist locale. Whilst there, Fred and Barney accidentally stumble onto an old laboratory containing Frankenstone and, unknowingly, make him rise, who in turn awakens Rockula. Rockula is, rightly, angry there are people in his home, scaring away the rest of a massive costume party, before finding Wilma asleep in his old room, confusing her for his old bride. He kidnaps her and, once she tells him she isn’t who he thinks she is, decides that he will be able to marry her once he finds Fred and makes Wilma a widow.
